Personally, I would love to see a Valenwood game be the first in the series to have real climbing, jumping, acrobatics etc. Real, interactive, three-dimensional forests. It really needs to be quite spectacular, not just trees over ground like forests in Cyrodiil or Skyrim. The most important thing of all though, I think, is that the devs make sure that "just forest" can't be used to describe the forest. A summery rainforest dotted with groves and clearings in the west, a dark, damp jungle in the east. Even following the rule that it must be forested, an area can vary wildly from another, a coastal mangrove swamp in the south, a rocky hillscape plastered with trees in the north. I am fairly confident that Valenwood could be made more than "just forest". Many (myself included) assumed that the whole game would look like Winterhold. until the game (or images of it) came out. Nobody knew that Skyrim would have flat plains, volcanic springs etc. It has a 1000 foot tall tower of coral on it that they through sacrifices off. It's an island that was sunk by the combined forces of Tamriel and then BROUGHT BACK TO THE SURFACE by the sload. Also the Sload live around there on the Island of Thras. Waving tendrils of kelp trap all but the Maormer's own ships, and provide a well-camouflaged home for the sea serpents that are Orgnum's guards and occasional mounts. Massive plateaus spill over with vegetation which form mazes around valleys of ocean. They described Pyandonea as a "sea jungle" barraged by mist storms. Most of the fleet was destroyed, but a single warship returned to Summerset. The navy followed the ships through uncharted waters and were ambushed at Pyandonea itself. One of the only glimpses into the actual landscape of Pyandonea came in 2E 486, when a small Maormeri fleet was sighted off the coast of Alinor and King Hidellith ordered his navy to give chase. The Maormeri live on one of the island chains that make up Summerset called Pyandonea and the only description we have of the geography is: Remember the Summerset isles have a decent amount of variation.
